selling paint brushes

Many would argue that school is
bad for writers...
Hey Paul...
Was listening to Kodachrome
the song...
(I only just now learned the
name...)
This was a few days, pulling
up to a poetry reading...
The lyrics:
When I think of all the stuff I
learned in High School it's a
wonder I can even think at
all.
Came on the radio and made
me laugh...
I think...
All things can add to a person,
depending on the person...
I think writers are the ones that
best turn all things to gold...
I dropped out of school then
went back, which I never
thought I would do...
(That experience helped
me to realize I could do
poetry performance...)
It's a crazy thing...
Long ago...
Like 21 year old...
I wanted to do "Poetry Movies"...
Like walking in the dunes
speaking poetry and poetical
concepts...
I never did it man...
Until recently...
But it's cool...
It's better...
