it’s 3am
the Squadron’s musty scent persists
7 adults, 2 of which Parents of
two cute foot-long “Reds”
no idea why
Javelinas congregate
just outside my front door
Perhaps it’s an Empath gig
natural attraction
Flora, Fauna…..Fae?
Whatever their reasons
a wee bit annoying
when I am ready to
start my day or
awaiting a
grocery delivery

Must be the place to Be. We're so city-buried that all we get is a cluster of starlings & a couple chonky squirrels at my house. And we feed them all

LOL -- Yes
i live in a semi-rural area
It's against the Law to feed the feral community
(lots of snitches in this retirement community) and so, i just shoo the beasties away.
i've give names to the repeat offenders.
One, Wilbur, brought his mate and 2 reds over, for i can only imagine to show off and show me!! Twice!
It was a wonderful encounter.
