Flat Out

I don't care much whatever you think
I don't look away I make you blink
I don't believe anything you have read
I have killed a thousand men in my head

I don't have patience for you feelings
I don't care about your inner dealings
I don't mind if you can't understand
I will always have the upper hand

I am an island I am to be respected
I am the sickness you are infected
I am shallow I pretend to be deep
I get no rest even when I sleep

I am always alone even in the crowd
I am thinking of things not allowed
I am alright no I am quite insane
I get no pleasure even from pain

I am so terrible so unfulfilled
I am just waiting to be killed
I am flatliner in mountain terrain
I blame my maker again and again
