Narcissism and Tariffs
On the TV, we see the chief narcissist in full flow, the showman of the year. Since I know very little about the economy, I shall refrain from making comments about tariffs, only a system of long-distance boxing. I know of words like solar plexus and upper cut, and not to hit below the belt, but also not to wear the belt too high over the navel; therefore, hitting the penguins on the Norfolk Islands with a hefty tariff is unlawful and below the belt, round one goes to the birds Likewise, as Joe Rogan says, sending a tattoo artist to a notorious jail abroad is a mistake that must be rectified at once
The president of the US cannot deal with the details for that; he has princelings who deal with matters at hand, alas, often with incompetence that usually results in calamity, and that is not the president’s fault
