Why must Pain motivate- a "classic" or "popular" song??
Listen to the words of your favorite tune; captivating- how it sways your mood;
Listen to the words, to know- that the melody put a "spell" on you....
Later on- you "hear" the words; you lived some life- less dreamy blurs; your "catchers mitt"- your ears now perk; all along those words had hurt/"curves"....
the many songs- one overlooked, yet certainly could have overheard- and still the words flew overhead- like anywhere there's sky- there's birds....
now we're all surprised- like "wow- I can't believe I missed that verse...."

this poem was inspired by a tik tokker by the name of Dj_Devv_. dude's reactions to songs are so freaking funny lol
