Eyes wide Shut: an Interlude

a gentle tease hovering as in twilight’s hush  
a summer breeze gentle as lingering glance
fingertip’s trace on velvet skin grace
soft shadows play where lips embrace

warm skin explored as in silken waves
sailed on by sweetness so tasted
with delight urging to close spaces
mixed in essence needs answered
 
as in worlds where dreams begin
as in nights where ecstasy reigns
chase to the heights the peak attains
to be repeated more and again
