Hope You're Happy Now
As I stand at the corner
Of where you kissed me last
I see you strolling arm in arm
With a demon of my past
Suddenly memories flood my skull
Blinding me with forgotten sights
Immediately I fall to my knees
Pedestrians confused by my obvious plight
I think of all the promises you never kept
Every time you made me cry
All the bruises that you left
And every little lie
I am choking on the nostalgic air
Brought forth from the sight of you
I stare at the scars on my wrists
My web of veins light blue
Wishing I could take it all back
Abandonment drawing near
Wraps its cold hands around my throat
You smile smugly at my tears
Shes smiling too I notice
As you both listen to my wretched cries
Sweet music flooding your ears
Soon I will surely die
Of where you kissed me last
I see you strolling arm in arm
With a demon of my past
Suddenly memories flood my skull
Blinding me with forgotten sights
Immediately I fall to my knees
Pedestrians confused by my obvious plight
I think of all the promises you never kept
Every time you made me cry
All the bruises that you left
And every little lie
I am choking on the nostalgic air
Brought forth from the sight of you
I stare at the scars on my wrists
My web of veins light blue
Wishing I could take it all back
Abandonment drawing near
Wraps its cold hands around my throat
You smile smugly at my tears
Shes smiling too I notice
As you both listen to my wretched cries
Sweet music flooding your ears
Soon I will surely die
