Moon Glow

Not knowing I was watching
You removed the cares of the world
A weight you would bare
Shown in every fiber and sinew of you

You wailed into still waters
To reset and release

No, you do not need permission
To leave all formality behind

Completely lost and submerged
Awakened and revitalized
You re-emerged, finally free
The moon is pleased as it
Gently embraces you with its glow

You were made man
Shaped, tempered and released
In the essence of duality

Those who confront without justification
Are hard yet soft to the core
I am the only one to see a side of you
A side no other will be privileged to

Come to me, show me

Then, as if the spell had been broken...
The weight of reality softened the glow
