Crossing Thoughts

Losing interest with my desires  
My mind completely uninspired  
Absent thoughts and losing focus  
Erratic behaviors becoming noticed  
 
Night after night of restless sleep  
In my head crossing thoughts do creep  
Fates cruel hand has me rattled  
Why keep fighting this losing battle  
 
This downward spiral has perplexed  
The thoughts I planned to happen next  
My head hangs down unhappily  
My will declining rapidly  
 
Giving in to this temptation  
A peaceful warming sensation  
The tremors of the smoking gun  
The stress is over, I am done
