When We were Younger
When we were younger skies were blue
Fields of dreams and every morning new
Laughter echoed in the fresh air
An innocent world so pure and fair
Barefoot days and summers breeze
Climbing high in whispering trees
Endless games and secret spots
Tree forts hidden in the tree tops
Stars at night a wonderous sight
Flashlight tag under the moon light
Hearts so light, no cares to bind
Innocence a treasure now hard to find
In those days so sweet and bright
Life was simple, full of light
When we were younger dreams took flight
In a world where everything felt right
Fields of dreams and every morning new
Laughter echoed in the fresh air
An innocent world so pure and fair
Barefoot days and summers breeze
Climbing high in whispering trees
Endless games and secret spots
Tree forts hidden in the tree tops
Stars at night a wonderous sight
Flashlight tag under the moon light
Hearts so light, no cares to bind
Innocence a treasure now hard to find
In those days so sweet and bright
Life was simple, full of light
When we were younger dreams took flight
In a world where everything felt right
