Color Storm

I vibe at the confluence of purple and pink
pinkle,
if you must

I swim in aqua
prescient dreams
a tranquil pool of trust

sometimes peach
feels within reach
social and a bit romantic

red enlivens here and there
just a touch
or the feeling gets too frantic

soft silvery gray
is a place I can stay
when I need to be off the air

dull and dusky earth tones
fill me with despair

lime green
is like a beam
to a goofy, happy place

puce is a color
I don't want
anywhere near my face

buttercup yellow
is soft and mellow
a lovely warm blanket unfurled

a deep sapphire
sparkles my soul
but that's not true
with primary blue

deep crimson is always a hit
if you get to the bottom of my spicy wit

chartreuse may be offensive to some
doesn't bother me a bit

a spin on the tertiary wheel
can greatly affect how I feel
a good walk through a color storm
keeps my soul happy and warm

Author's Note
I'm going to work on some kind of art to go with this. It may include pinkle (a very specific color that I only know when I see it).
