WORDS I ALWAYS REMEMBER
WHEN
I was a small boy
my mom helped dress
me for going to school.
AS
I went out the door she
would always say, "Don't
forget to smile."
Through the years that admonition
has grown in importance;
not only have I learned that
a "Smile is a frown turned upside
down", I have learned more
lessons than I can remember.
SOME
lessons are...
...a smile reveals the state
of your heart,
...a smile says I am not a foe,
...a smile brightens a dark day,
...a smile is a gift to others who'll
give one back to you,
...a smile is the body's way of
removing stress,
...a smile is a key to making
and keeping friend,
...a smile is the divine's avenue
of communication,
...a smile is the only universal
language spoken by everyone.
YES,
I'm thankful for those words I
always remember, but honestly
sometimes I forget, but it's
not because of YOU.
YOU keep my heart and soul
smiling...even as I write these words.
