Restored

Crumbled bones start to mend now,
Restored pieces crawl back to their owner
Chances of rebirth, life's kindness returned as a donor
Life returned at last somehow
Voluntarily, it gave a cure for the ache
Noticed the screeching that came out of the owner's mouth,
Resembling an unforeseen plague

Despite inevitable doom, life saved the bones from decaying
Somehow, it was life that saw willingness remaining
Though the pain of the shattering still lingers,
The pain greater than previous hollow wounds,
At last, the blood pulses through the frozen veins
For beside bones, the flesh has returned too

Now the adorned skeleton with flesh resembled a human
Still, resemblance and fact are drifted miles away
For life was kind to redeem the owner's doom,
But all it did was slow time when the owner meets the soil-surrounded room

While mending the last bone, life looked saddened at its owner
"Revive your chance is all I did,
For chance itself is yours alone to take."
So with mended bones and numbing pain, she has to show life that old habits are over
