The laundry seems to watch me from the shadows

Ugh fuck that laundry monster.
While this is a surface poem, and it's about laundry (which sucks) metaphorically, it's a cool commentary on emotional laundry too. The stuff we let set in the corner for days... it just stinks worse the longer you leave it.
I like this a lot.
