Eclipseing Me
Your whispers fill the hollow air,
A hymn that binds, a wordless snare.
You’re not a god, but I kneel still,
A shadow draped in quiet will.
Your touch is poison laced in gold,
A promise ancient, silent, cold.
And I am nothing—just a vessel,
Your voice, a hymn I dare not wrestle.
Take me—
Unmake me—
Let the void flood my veins,
'Til the silence becomes my name.
Shape me—
Erase me—
Every thought you claim as your own,
And I fall into you, alone.
I trace the lines you carved in me,
A map of ruin, endlessly.
I thought I knew where this would lead,
But darkness sows a fragile seed.
Now every heartbeat is a toll,
A step closer to losing control.
And I am nothing—just a shadow,
Your voice, the tide, and I must follow.
Take me—
Unmake me—
Let the void flood my veins,
'Til the silence becomes my name.
Shape me—
Erase me—
Every thought you claim as your own,
And I fall into you, alone.
Do you mourn what I was before?
Or are my ashes what you adore?
You’ve stained my skies with endless night,
Yet somehow, I still beg for light.
Take me—
Unmake me—
Let your name flood my tongue,
'Til I forget where I’m from.
Shape me—
Erase me—
Every prayer is now a plea,
I’m consumed by you, endlessly.
And when you leave, I’ll drift away,
A hollowed husk where shadows stay.
Your darkness sings its final plea:
“Come closer, love, you’re part of me.”
