This poem is what takes place BEFORE a physical relationship.

It’s my thought, that long before the relationship, we have unhealed emotions and desires that connect with the other person and come to fruition once the relationship commences.
Like finds like, like understands and accepts like, like gives themselves unconditionally to like because they have found themselves reflected in the other person - what they have been searching for in order to heal.
To me, the bruises from BDSM play are sexy reminders, so when like finds like in this situation, those bruises are also perfection, like a weary soul finding a resting place.
I think BDSM is beautiful in this sense because it provides the perfect space for all that acceptance to happen.
