gnosis where snow flakes flock
sentient ones immortal icicles
may he that speaketh begin
among last fading greens
these three unite as She
Sala Niejta daughter of Sun
Rana Niejta daughter of this fertile earth
Saivo Niejta daughter of the underworlds
stand with me encircled
silver slivers shine
salving breath
ice giants
chasms
now
we
are
one tapestry
oneness
winged
ones
as we fleet

bird

together we are
state of sky

Happy New Year to All fellow members, do make a wish! This is my last poem for 2024. Thank you all for reading and leaving your words of reflection DEDICATED to all the Sami people. In honor to the ancestors of place and lands. The Sami have an official indigenous status however this does not help them as they are still discriminated. They have stolen their land and now they are trying to monopolise history by trying to decrease the Sami language and often depicting Sami people as an “invasive species“.

That sounds just like the plight of the Native Americans here, Anne-Ri, and the Palestinians, and the Māori, and the. . .
The injustice in the name of white supremacy and/or religious affiliation is horrifying. May the New Year bring peace and resolution to those who have and are suffering in the name of the "righteous" or "chosen ones".
May the Universe bless you immensely and may your 2025 be filled with light, love, and prosperity in all things that matter the most. xo

My time away was shorter than expected Uma, change of plan due to harsh weathers, home studies and such as it is for now, I embrace each change though, thank you for all your feedback and wise insights, much appreciated!

Gorgeous New Years poem. Glad I visited this poem on the beating heart of and oppressed people. Your poem expresses the passion of winter scenes and those who live in such a place. Love the feel of your imagery as it dances in my mind's eye. Hope in the winter of desolation is something that inspires. I wish for those people the freedom to be an accepted culture with the same rights as everyone. That is the dream of humanity that your poem expresses with the lyrical wonder of a fully conscious poet.
