Pig In A Suit
Pig in a suit grizzly stench of death
Spewing a lie never blinking twice
Muttering insults under vile breath
Teflon soul with a heart cold as ice
Evidence denied video has a flaw
Conveniently it wasn’t working that day
Projection is nine tenths of the law
Turns out that’s enough to simply walk away

Author's Note
Late night musing. White Collar crime is alive and well. Most of them never get convicted anyway. New poll shows that Bacon does indeed rule. Appreciate you.

First off: love the image and love the quote. Unlike a lot of women I find suits a turn-off. Most look like clowns, lol (to me, at least) Yes, white collar crime is real. Though most don't get convicted I believe karma will bit them in the ass one day. Great piece, my friend. I appreciate you :-)

I call him Litmus Don, because he's the acid test of shitty character, who lets the rest of us know who we can't trust, which is anybody who says that they like the guy, or who have voted for him.
Thanks to people like him we now live in a country where objecting to shootings is considered a liberal talking point, ffs.

My first thought is I'm actually allergic to pork. But then I read this again & realized...I worked for 20 years with honest dudes in suits that never looked "wrong" to me. As soon as I saw a politician in a suit though, or corporate clowns, I thought oily. Context matters, I guess. It's not the suit that stinks, it's the mass of shit within it. Another solid piece here, Damian

Loved how you say the description of the corporate crimes that’s much atop & ruling even the puppetting politicos.. Teflon soul .. wow! & the slipping away so as a smoothie way of theirs.. ah well you say so well & bitterish cutting sharp. sometimes feels as part of any corporate , even at lower it mid the lines, just blind nod to all of their so biz strategy of twisted crimes, we are too part of all this syndicating nexus .. milky mafiaisms.. :( well captured xx

This speaks for itself, so I'll spare the long review. It reminds me a lot of politics, and how corruption and greed have filtered through in society to be acceptable. You do a good job of bringing the picture to life. Anyway, again, your solid and concise rhyme scheme suits this well. Thanks for sharing!

The pic and the write remind me of an uncle I have/had. When I was a kid, he married my hottest aunt. He sold insurance and was very well off. We were all basically low income. But, he loved to gloat and show off. Which made everyone despise him at gatherings. Ugh.
The thing is, he didn't seem very bright. Perhaps he was, but he wasn't good holding a conversation.
Your write; We must live epically in spite of any confines, government or not. Take our meager profits after taxes and buy a goldfish. Something rewarding. It's our goldfish, Dammit.
Write on, brother.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Mark. I had an uncle who was better off than anyone else. Only difference he gloated about what he had one minute, then he'd be bitching about taxes, and playing the victim. I agree, it's our goldfish. I'm glad you connected with the write, brother. Appreciate you.
