Awful
Dirty skyline, fake clouds
Grey ground, black trees
A sound uttered, then lost
Visible past, can’t look
Outside so bare
Nothing to talk about
Just some space in between
What once was here
Sphere of shame turns
Feel it move to the beat
Of the lonely universe
That pleads for warmth
Mistakes were made
Take the fault, please
I don’t want to anymore
Too ashamed to walk
Smoking mirrors, promises
You can’t keep for long
I’m too needy
Clinging to my hopes and dreams
Falling apart again
Bloodied for my amusement
Hole a mile wide and deep
Remember me as a child as I jump in
River styx, floating down
Killing slowly, drowning fast
King of failures laughing
Saint Peter, save me
Then it breaks
A timeless end
With no sanity left
Nor any blood
Like I said before
Mistakes were made
Just couldn’t believe
It was all so awful
Grey ground, black trees
A sound uttered, then lost
Visible past, can’t look
Outside so bare
Nothing to talk about
Just some space in between
What once was here
Sphere of shame turns
Feel it move to the beat
Of the lonely universe
That pleads for warmth
Mistakes were made
Take the fault, please
I don’t want to anymore
Too ashamed to walk
Smoking mirrors, promises
You can’t keep for long
I’m too needy
Clinging to my hopes and dreams
Falling apart again
Bloodied for my amusement
Hole a mile wide and deep
Remember me as a child as I jump in
River styx, floating down
Killing slowly, drowning fast
King of failures laughing
Saint Peter, save me
Then it breaks
A timeless end
With no sanity left
Nor any blood
Like I said before
Mistakes were made
Just couldn’t believe
It was all so awful
