The Poetree Tree

Autumn:

Words fall
Like Autumn leaves
Now jaded, but no longer jade
But a tapestry
Of 'rusty' colours
Of a myriad fading shades

Winter:

The fallen leaves
Now brown, and rotten
Crushed underfoot
And soon forgotten
As naked trees
Neon shades lost
Bare arms reaching out
For her missing children

Spring:

The cold dark bleakness of winter
Is soon replaced
As the golden glow
Of the sun
Begins to warm
As nature is reborn
The tree has new children
Hanging from her branches
Shimmering like emeralds
Catching the light
Of the suns soul

Summer:

The poetree tree
Is now at her finest
Flowering beauty
Caught in the breezes
As her jade jewels
Dance once again
Fluttering fancies
Blushing beauty
And a sweet serenade
From the poetree trees
Twittering residents
Mother nature smiles
Upon her children
