There was a wrestler back in the mid 2000s by the name of Val Venis, his finishing move was a flying jump from the top rope aptly name "the money shot". Not sure why this came to mind your protagonist money hot a wren.

Yes, since both "money shot" and "skeet" are preposterous slang for ejaculatory semen.
Of course it's theoretically possible for dudes to attempt to aim someone else's ejaculatory semen, but I can't imagine the money shot would successfully hit the intended target.
And of course bacon bits in the seminal discharge is suggestive of excessive protein on the menu.
The wren was the skeet victim due to that type of shooting being practice for upland bird hunting.
All a practice in pub quality restroom graffiti vulgarity:)
