Ode to Heilung
prehistoric findings have indicated that proto Germanic
was an actual official language though not of words
Sound was a first language perhaps elementally reflection
shaping reshaping like stone mason hands each rock
o p e n i n g
hearth
heart
dearth
an open cairn where I see the musk moist
in garments beholding nearing night
I sit sink beguiled I listen, Earth o Earth
in foster waters
gestating narcoleptic
surrounded by balm
o p u s
deepening each pore
alone I am not
within an asteroid
amplified
heathen

Author's Note
some of my favorite music is ceremonial music, Heilung have an amazing style though they dont sing in English, they sing in all kinds of old languages, all their work, the songs, the costumes , instruments its all based on historical findings, its well arranged and thought of, they have amazing choirs and percussionists. Going to see them in Oslo, March 2025.

Dear H,
Always enjoy your visits to my pages. Music has always been a big love. As it happens with the modern technologies apps and such its easy to come across new songs. Though still great artists are not easy to find. Of course music is very personal, what appeals to one might not appeal to the other, I tend to like the more unpolished stuff anyways. But Im open to listening to just about any type of music.

Thank you much Damian, the topic of music is just so endless. Sometimes when I listen to music I always think oh yes this song that song et cetera. Artists and bands are a different category though.
