I seen a man...

I seen a man

Whose every step was filled with power and whose will never blundered

I seen a man whose soul was dark and seemed to wander

Whose sleep was plagued by nightmares and monsters

I seen a man

Whose life was changed in an instant

He stood in front of me everyday

Through the reflected eyes gaze but was distorted by haze

I see a man…

That man is me whose vision was cleared…

By a love unexpected

That is now gone

But is still perfect in every way

I see a man who once had a woman by his side

Who’s kiss was sweeter was sugar

Whose aroma was better than flowers

Whose beauty was unsurpassed by anything from here to there!

A woman who was the sunshine to my days and the moonlight to my nights

And that woman was you…

You who cleared my vision

You, the one, whose image lay, intertwined with mine!

But now I see a man

Or I seen a man. . .

A man who’s no longer there

His days are dark and his nights are black

His soul lost his image gone

His heart hollow and cold again

The eye reflects nothing now. . .

Shattered…

It lies like his heart

Broken…

Each piece reflects nothing

Distorted by haze all over again

I seen a man

Who is no longer there
