~blue house that soaks in yellow night-lighted love
beaming blue walls
in an unfazed electrifying
eccentricity.. border
this singular standalone
house.. awake in open
doors and yellowy
lights in fire streams
..almost gives a hazy
sepia vignetting palette
in a nostalgic dig village
view, sweetly reminiscent
of those childhood vacation
days.. spent long in a pure
silence of a rustic ambience..
in tight warmth of grandma
grandpa.. their loving grips
.. outside, dribbling plic ploc
rain in trickles.. add to the
marigold yellowy stood pool
of grounded moonlightedness
over the slow rippling waves
in half tar half sandy pacca roads
.. forms bed for the bassy croaking
toads in damp mating calls trilling
over the ears in a wanton melody…
the touching warmth breath
of you.. my deeply intaking
nostrils. yearn now.. with scents
of midnight jasmine blooms
wink in welcome bedding whites
for us to take this stage.. with
lukewarm
turmeric latte milk.. swirls
in peppered sprinkles & stirred
deep with brown country
jaggery..
.. await for our hungering
lips to be in caramel burns
in their dipping sips.. &

Dear Uma,
From the very first word even in the title this patchwork drew me in and I got entangled with the stories you told. The whole intrinsic field of images opened all the senses. I was there seeing hearing smelling tasting these stories. Stories engraved in my own and humanities histories, thank you for sharing this ink from your gifted pen!
