I come outside to unwind from the daily grind
But then I find y'all beating yourselves down
Lighten up! Cause the people you hold close to you, will lie because love is twisted
It's supposed to hurt
And anybody who ever told you differently, is full of shit
Find new inspiration
Emotional asses
How you sound asking somebody to treat you right?

Now, your content belongs to you, no filter
But I was compelled to write this cause y'all are depressing a sistah
Y'all bring the activist outta me, like: “What do you do when your heart's under attack?”
“Stand UP, FIGHT BACK!”
Get with the program. Stop spending precious time with compromises, that only you are obligated to
Assess whether they’re a distraction or a vital asset
And remember to always pick yourself up

And that's okay cause it takes one to know one

Chin lower than ya shoulders
Knees cockeyed just before your performance,
Of These anti-romantic poems
Got y'all sounding like,
“She played me.
I wasn't capable then, but I tried and tried again.
What was the reason?
I bet Karma isn't as shady a bitch like you've been!”
Y'all stricken with the sickness of romantic ambitions, but I've had it up to here with y'all shenanigans. Be liberated.

Recognition is key, freedom is peace
Y'all sit there and envision
Then, when it's presented to you, there's stipulations
Manipulations that's leaving you blaming yourself
Fuck that
Reclaim yo shit
Cause there's greatness within you that
Everyone else tells you about,
But somehow you're the last one to know

Your truth matters, but I prefer LaLa-Land over the sunken place
Get y'all asses in gear so you can represent yo city, yo State, yo loved ones but most importantly, yourself
