inside the mind is where to find
somewhere to be alone
where no one can enter anytime
and no one is on the phone

peaceful and calm, free from all harm
in the centre around which we spin
without alarm as if by a charm
in what is found deep within-

inside the mind is where to find
somewhere simply to be
to write a rhyme, to slip out of time
to hover blissfully
