I had an idea, initally, who I thought this poem might be about but I also realised a little later on that in fact it could be about all of us, even Billy, if he smiled sweetly enough! It is a rare quality that a poem can feel like it is especially written for the person who reads it. I believe it was written for me. (I bow) 🤗
