The Diamond Tree

One day,you were walking home at night.
In the storm,with no fright.
Something was sparkling in the sky.

But not just the stars.
You find something far away.
That looks like it will never decay.

It resembled a tree.
With diamonds on it,that will set you free.
Maybe it was all in your head.

Maybe it was an illusion,a threat.
But when you followed the thread.
You became amazed.

With diamonds so shiny, you became dreamy and dazed.
Your feelings were happy,amazed.
With your fascination unphased.

They were in colors red,white,pink.
You begin to think,is it a dream?
Am I living on a screen, run on gasoline?

Or am I in a magic fairytale?
With witches, creatures with multiple eyes.
Or am I just seeing beautiful sights?

Were my eyes tricking me?
No,this can't be it.
Because it's so beautiful and warm.

Shiny,sparkly with no harm.
Maybe my mind is tricking me.
Is this real?

Is this real life,or what I feel?
But when you went to check if it's real.
You were surprised.

The diamonds,sparkled before your eyes.
Maybe if you picked one for your home.
You could grow a tree of your own.

You got a call on your phone.
And you have to head back home.
The bark of the tree is bright.

It's diamond fruit, shinier than the stars at night.
The diamonds had an ethereal glow.
And the wind gently flow.

More trees soon began to grow.
And you never felt foul.
It made your soul light.

As you watch the stars at night.
The moon looked at you from a huge height.
And everything just felt right.

One day,you visited again.
The tree await.
As it smiled upon you.

They say it's made of magic.
Or fueled by something tragic.
At the end of the day,the magic before our eyes.

And the star filled night skies.
You went and said your goodbyes.
Yet you remember the tree.

And how it set you free.
One day, you'll bring the memory to me.
And I'll do anything to set you free.

Finding a tree that grows stunning diamonds.
""They say it could be on this land.
But if you just stretch your hand, you'll find and see.
The tree has diamonds.
And set you free.""
