Let me feel you
Feel the softness there
Shallowly wading in the heavy night
Feel the tension that holds you together
Breathing you in
Let me know you by every freckle
By every flush and glance
All it takes
If it can
Is to reach out to me first
When I know you by the soft brush of fingers on wrists
I’ll never let go
Let me know you by every word and laugh
I feel like I don’t know you at all
