Back To The Routine

Sneak a few treasured moments here
badly in need of release
it has been a month
thirty fictions in thirty days
but I did it
despite the faulty clutch
and the sick oven
messing with my routines
and braces for the kid
been a costly month
been little opportunity
for that quality time
to nurse those fantasies
to the surface
to give myself
license to indulge
but here I am
back again
ready to make a splash
