Sayonara
Its been almost three suns,
two book spines,
and an unresponded text,
since last time we spoke.
You were in China
and you came back with a dragon on your skin.
How do you say in chinese: I love you.
Nevermind. The feelings I hold are too lame, and too late.
Maybe its me.
I waited till lockdown to spill the content of my heart
All the understanding, the concernes and future fears
The facades, and the prosthetic ears
I speak in my plastic cup
And you came and cut the string
While you hide secrets under your skirt
Seeing you in the sink, through the garbage disposal
Seeing you through glasses, tinted in pink
Am I missing you, or someone, or something in me?
Am I messing with someone? And is it me?
Eyes that live by dichotomy
Die by the blade, Chien Andalou.
Am I missing the point in here?
For the love of delusion
I kept this object a secret and I called it A (...)
I am letting this blotch of rainbow
melt in memory
Its you, and me
Now, we are just fantasies
No texts, and no numbers
to dial our way back home
How do you say "Good bye" in Japanese?
