That was a very good limerick. Learned what that was, lol, as I don't have formal
training. Plus went to the dictionary for a couple words. I like learning.

I've only done a couple so far but that's about all you can type into Bluesky to post, although you can post photos of poems too so I've got a couple of sonnets posted there as well.

I have never been able to write limericks!

I imagine it must be a lot like joke writing for a comedy show, but I've never done that before either.

Seems both will require extreme ideation condensation and juxtaposition, which is why they are so charming when well done.

As a person who has taken a lot interest in horology lately, and a fan of limericks, this goes so well together.
Nicely done.

I wrote this down years ago, but then I misplaced it and finally gave up trying to find it, but I loved the concept enough that I reworked it from memory, and this is what I got.

I think it's even better but I can't say for sure since I don't perfectly remember the old one.
