In the Corner of Your Eye

This reminds me of abandonment, or perhaps substance abuse.  The tear in the corner of the eye could be a myriad of causation.  I kind of imagine it as going through the cycles of addiction, at least how I relate, personally.  I like the stanza "it turns a boy - into a wall."  Like saying people that haven't cared to understand have talked to a wall, or that you are talking to a wall in them, because they haven't cared to understand.  The rest is kind of a summation of the frustrations of relationships in enduring a state of depression or extreme desperation or drug abuse.  It's like you're emotionally provoked by the fact that people don't care to understand, or they give little effort in understanding, or just simply, can't understand at all, given what you've gone through in this great ordeal.  Struggling all alone often does go misunderstood, whatever the battle or crisis.  And then, the anger comes to surface because it seems as though no one cared for a long time, and they sum it up simply in "why."  It's like "where were you at, if you really cared?"  This could have various levels of interpretation, within literal situations, but I feel like it's captured properly here.  Seems frustrating.  Overall, it captures the difficulty of relationships in people.  That's just how I take it, anyway.  I can actually relate to this QUITE well, heh.  Thanks for sharing!
