There is something about the first take
 
It’s raw and there are many mistakes  
 
But it captures the real feelings
 
You can go back and try to recreate  
 
But there is a soul missing
 
Go back again money is ticking  
 
We’re booked for 10pm no one shows up but the engineer  
 
What can he do without us, punch his phone as the money rings
 
Three hours later the bassist shows up, proceeds to throw up his guts
 
Where’s the drummer and guitarist to turn this house into madness
 
As the tension grows now shows up the true prophet to set us free from the darkness
