In loving memory beneath the moon's lonely lagoon
and the decadent chastity of long-stem wilted roses
haunting the curios covered in dust 'neath the decor
of bones in the cemetery white like a shadow of pale
with an urge to kill taunted by screams and wings
of the locust bleeding me dry to satisfy vampire need

I agree with Debbie. This is great. Good job of constructing the poem with all of the words and format that comes across as transitional and clean, at least to me. Your detailed description in using dark metaphor and spirit to describe yearning desire is unmistakably talented. I don't want to seem too pretentious in trying to write a review, especially when I could perhaps be mistaken. What I take from this though, is that it's pretty good. Thanks for sharing!
