The Wolf Inside Of Me

In the depths of my soul, there lies a beast

A creature of darkness, of hunger and feast

A wolf that prowls with eyes so cold

A heart of darkness, untamed and bold


It lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike

A primal instinct, a thirst it must sate

It howls at the moon, a chilling sound

A reminder of the wild, untamed ground


The wolf inside of me, a powerful force

A reminder of nature's unyielding course

It runs with the pack, fierce and strong

A predator in a world so wrong


I try to tame it, to keep it at bay

But sometimes it breaks free, in the light of day

It snarls and growls, a fearsome sight

A reminder of the darkness, hidden from sight


But deep down I know, the wolf is me

A part of my being, wild and free

I embrace its power, its primal call

A reminder of the untamed within us all


So I walk with the wolf, side by side

A companion in the darkness, a friend in the wild,

Together we roam through the night

A reminder of the strength that burns so bright
