A Beer or two

A beer or two, a simple pleasure,
To savor slowly, at our leisure.
 The golden bubbles, dancing free,
A moment of pure joy for me.

The frothy head, a work of art,
 Soothing to the weary heart.
 A sip of bliss, a moment's peace,
A welcome respite, a sweet release.

In good company or all alone,
A beer or two, a comfort known.
A taste of hops, a touch of malt,
A humble brew, a simple fault.

So here's to beer, in all its glory,
A drink that tells a different story.
Of simple pleasures, shared with friends,
A moment's peace, that never ends.
