Image for the poem bedevilment

bedevilment

my dark calls to your serene facade
I feel your hard edge
it cuts and I bleed

my soul slips in and out of consiousness
touch the grief deep within
stirring it I need you deeply

my sutures are not holding
my wounds are easy to see
you know me too well
I can't conceal, what is hidden

bidden come closer
I do cautiously revealing where I am hurting
it may not be wisdom

seeking your approval
this late in the day
