A Novice of Metaphors

A novice effort of metaphors as the ink dries in my
mind's reservoir attempting to describe the pale
clouds in your eyes frozen in time as I witness
a crooked smile reading the fog from your lips
as you inch closer to Perpetual Night listening to
silence of my muse failing to cast words to me

Breathlessly is cremation without a notary as
echo calls rising from the earth with Condor
wings with much madness and more sin
the mimes of fools begin to shout a motley
drama, of nevermore as the ink dries in my
reservoir
