foundations
sadness quells and for the moment I can breathe
memories burn brightly then fade
not knowing if happiness is in the remembering or forgetting
sighing I feel for my touchstone
bearing natural energy I calm
soothing spirits move my soul
turning in the internal faith
knowledge builds from experience
life in and out I sigh
relearnding things I thought I knew
there is always a better foundation or view to behold
learning what is now, in the moment
I focus on each being around me
there is lessons here
with hopes not to repeat the same mistakes
with tenderness
memories burn brightly then fade
not knowing if happiness is in the remembering or forgetting
sighing I feel for my touchstone
bearing natural energy I calm
soothing spirits move my soul
turning in the internal faith
knowledge builds from experience
life in and out I sigh
relearnding things I thought I knew
there is always a better foundation or view to behold
learning what is now, in the moment
I focus on each being around me
there is lessons here
with hopes not to repeat the same mistakes
with tenderness
