scattered and scarred

 
mellowing I see Heaven shining
stars racing spirits lighting the universes
creating from their glorious imaginations
heightening my perspective
 
trying life it expects much from me
rising then sinking my mind wanders
the world demands my attention
seeing too much I avoid connecting
overwhelmed and sometimes afraid of the future
 
swimming in the elements  
touching the univereses
we have AI on the waves  
if the ruins of the world tell us anything
it may have always been so
 
energies reach in to inspect us all
clashing with the curious beings
responding with hostility because their gossiping
 
choosing to focus on the positive  
doing my best to see beauty
altering my perception
 
with the knowledge it does no good to explain
scars and past life experiences
converging and wrecking on the interstellar wavelengths  
spilling me on the pavement
parchment catches me and I write out my verses
