Not For Me

Always sought it
a dreamer with a foolish hope
waited for so long,
tired, ready to give in
it came to others, except for me—
an unfulfilled dream
days grow longer and darker
such pity- dwelling in seclusion with so much to give
yet no one will see
the wonders, the glimmer, the passion, that will never be
it was never meant for me, I'm just a dreamer, nothing more
