Silent Dancer

Silent dancer

Dances for no one but me

Words not heard but she’s beautiful

I talk to her in a whisper

If she doesn’t see me she can’t hear me

But she’s a silent dancer

She dances on cold tile

But her toes make no sound to her

There is lights in her eyes

She mesmerized my soul

She is a silent dancer she dances

Only for me she prances

She is a silent dancer

But the dance she does makes the crowd roar

Back at home not a whisper

She looks at me I know the look she gives

Slip under the covers tongue turns over

Silent dancer hears no one else but me
