Image for the poem Right Before Noon

Right Before Noon

Visions creep through marginalized guilt
Rubbing other individuals the wrong way
Stirring inside this house made of glass
Casting the first stone just to begin the day

Losing faith in this busted way of thinking
Watching lost souls sell themselves for fame
Outside in the distance silence lasts forever
Only certain players change never the game

Confusion nests inside this revolving illusion
Little whispers suggesting invalid information
Offering sexual favors to strange bedfellows
While being kept under constant observation

Locked away from light on the dark side of the moon
Penciled into meet the angel of death right before noon

Author's Note
Late night musing. Really just started writing, and made adjustments on the fly. Ended up here resting on the street of dreams. Appreciate you.

- Damian DeadLove

"You know there's nothin' like the real world to get me down
There's nothin' like the world outside that turns me upside down
It makes me feel like I'm headin' down a one way, dead-end street"
