To Feel Weak
To be the target
Powerless
Aimed at with a shrink ray
A silvery light blinds your vision
Targeted solely on you
You’re unable to move
No matter how your mind screams at you
You’re paralyzed
Frail, unable to speak nor defend yourself
They pull the trigger
A beam emerges and hits you
Covering you with a freezing glow
You feel like a liquid as it melts you
Making your periphery distorted like a blur
While you scan around trying to fathom
What’s happening to you
You begin shrinking
Everything seems to grow enormous
And you become
Tinier
And
Tinier
Until you reach a fraction of what you were
But you’re not that anymore
You’re barely a speck
Insignificant
You find yourself altered
To fall into
Helplessness
The titan stares down at you
They could step on you
And feel nothing, cackling
As if that has been their greatest victory
It probably was
And you’ll feel like you lost
A battle you didn’t ask for
Your will is gone
It becomes
Theirs
Powerless
Aimed at with a shrink ray
A silvery light blinds your vision
Targeted solely on you
You’re unable to move
No matter how your mind screams at you
You’re paralyzed
Frail, unable to speak nor defend yourself
They pull the trigger
