Parents
Parents, oh the ones that care for you?
Parents, oh the ones that are supposed to love you?
Parents, oh yes those ones!
Was there something wrong with me? Where was your love?
Did it go out the window when you hit me?
Did it go out the window when you called me names?
But you love me?
Right?
The comfort you gave me was masked by your anger
The comfort... where?
The mask you put on when people were around
People thought you were great!
Behind closed doors,
The anger...
Towards me, each other and yourself.
You told me you loved me,
But you never showed up
Why cant you just love me?
Parents, the ones that were supposed to love me?
Parents, the ones that gave me scars,
Parents, oh yes those ones!
