Image for the poem I Can

I Can't Foresee

Might not be now but someday
We all realize our faults shape us
Your experiences are uniquely you
My point of view is all we discuss

I’m the head shrink you always call
Could be because my advice is free
I understand that it’s all about trust
Amidst shadows that I can’t foresee

Author's Note
Late night musings. All of my life I've had a unique gift, friends always come to me for advice. As we've gotten older it's more like I'm a psychiatrist. I know it's because they trust me, but's it's not easy coming up with answers to everything. Especially when I don't know all the answers myself.
