Image for the poem Old Mickey Mouse Clock

Old Mickey Mouse Clock

No longer the same,
the clock stopped its tick-tocks,
gone beneath a heap
with every forgotten item.

Dust creeping every nook,
making the glass cover blurry,
the numbers on the dial
barely seen through,
everything is broken with neglect.

How you would wish
for it to be here still,
to rewind the time,
care for the Mickey Mouse clock
for better times.

Did it always hold such value?

I don't think it'll work, even if you try. Time to get you a Minnie Mouse clock.
