original stasis I am unsure
play a vision on repeat
memories come quickly
arousing my mind with questions

odd unfamiliar phrases
archaic words brought to memory
my star records were accessed for a bit
and my vocabulary grows

then as fast as it came
the knowledge left me
it's a wonder how I can be of high intellect
then seemingly know only the routine

affected thought I have memories
I wonder if they are contrived
or belonging to someone else

my mind searches the heavens
to be sure I am connected to the one that made us
he must be I've heard him since childhood

mystery upon mystery will it be revealed
My Akashic records hold information from past lives
my star shines bright in the dull light

erase a trace of magic off me
before the fire is put out
and the mundane closes the vault

my memories lost
and if I reach for them they are faded and forgotten
needed for a time then deemed irrelevant
