Humanity's Siblings

Dear Sister,
If by chance you find yourself standing in the middle of a ball room, dressed in rags, soul exhausted.
Were you even invited? How the hell did you get here?
Layers of beautiful people circle about you.
Laughing, poking, provoking you to respond to their talk and chatter.
It's just ok, let your internal need to defend yourself grow numb.
Be grateful for their lessons.
Matter of fact, thank God for them.
A little deeper?
Thank God for loving you enough to invest people's time to help you grow.
I know you cry 90% of the time.
You are not unheard.
You feel everything beautiful, just as much as your soul cries for everything lost and broken.
Just as much as your own soul cries for help.
And to manage and live within that existence is both a blessing and not so much a curse, because I think in feeling everything broken and lost, that's where true empathy can reside, to walk in another's shoes, to extend compassion can be healing to them and yourself.  With the understanding that we are never truly alone in our struggles in this life.
And as for the dance? While they are all busy, in their nice clothes and fancy appearance, notice they are standing still, forgetting what they are even there for, remind them....just dance, and remember, you are never alone, and there are those always willing to cut from what they have left to cover you, just as you do right things to cover others that are helpless, and those cruel hearted residents at the ball that never seem to feel the woes of life, that stay fully dressed and dont help others keep what they have, yet take more from them, well they can never undress your heart, and to that always be true ♥
For we will all one day stand naked before God, and what then?
For they can clothe their mortal bodies with fine layers of jewels and silken robes, but one day they will be left standing with their hearts in their hands observing their works of this life.
And in that moment, let your heart be the one that would still clothe them.
Love Wins ♥
